Everyone has a little bit of madness, as said by Professor Stein. But not everyone's madness is severe enough to get out of control. So, Only 5 star players and up can play a character with a severe madness. There are 5 types of madness and 5 levels.

&& 01 GROWING AND SLOWING MADNESS

Yes, Madness can grow from a lower level. However, it is very difficult to grow a madness from a Non-exsistant state. However, traumatizing experiences are the most popular way to grow into a Madness. Also, being exposed to radiating Madness can cause someone to grow in their own madness. Also, as shown with Maka and Chrona, Madness can be weakened or go through a state called "Slowing Down." When someone or something significant happens in the person's life to snap them out of their Madness and reduce their Madness level.

&& 02 MADNESS TYPES

There are five types of madness, each have a percentage stat. There are more of some then there are of others. These will be monitored of course. There are different Effects and behaviors set up for each madness. These are merely suggestions. Please feel free to come up with your own interpretation, but it will have to go through us staff. Please explain more about your character's Madness within your personality section.

01. MADNESS OF TERROR	RADIATES ENVY	80% of PEOPLE
EFFECTS: There are three effects to the Madness of Terror. There will be examples within explanations of different levels of Madness.  01) FEAR OF EVERYTHING; Obviously a severe level of this effect is wanting to get completely rid of everything he/she is afraid of. A Moderate level is being terrified of one thing and having trouble overcoming this fear. 02) FEAR OF NOTHING; A very severe form of this effect is the need to challenge everything it is afraid of. The need to overcome all of his/her fears. A Moderate level can be over courageous and even overly rash. 03) FEAR OF SPECIFIC; To be afraid of one thing in specific in different stages.

02. MADNESS OF POWER	RADIATES GLUTTONY	60% of PEOPLE
EFFECTS: There is only one type of effect that the madness of power creates. There will be examples of different levels.  01) POWER HUNGER; For someone with a severe madness of power they'll do anything they can to be the best. A Moderate effect could be a superiority complex. They think they are better then everyone else or discriminate one type of being.

03. MADNESS OF WISDOM	RADIATES GREED	20% of PEOPLE
EFFECTS: There are two effects to the Madness of Wisdom. There will be examples within explanations of different levels of Madness.  01) DESIRE TO KNOW; A Severe form of this effect is to be completely obsessed in one area to the point of sacrificing and experimenting even at the cost of people and things they care about. A slight form of this effect is to have an unhealthy interest in one area of expertise. This form of Wisdom madness is more likely then the other. 02) TO KNOW EVERYTHING; The severe form of this effect would be the desire to become the smartest person in the world. (lol sorry, that sound cheesy but its all I had in mind.) A very slight effect of this madness would be a someone who brags about their intelligence.

04. MADNESS OF ORDER	RADIATES PRIDE	10% of PEOPLE
EFFECTS: There is only one effect to the Madness of order. There will be examples within explanations of different levels of Madness.  01) CREATE ORDER; The order madness effects people in the severe manner of needing to have the world around them be completely perfect. They will even sacrifice the people around them keep their world perfect. A moderate form of this madness could be something similar to autism.

05. MADNESS OF RAGE	RADIATES WRATH	40% of PEOPLE
EFFECTS: There is one effect to the Madness of Rage. There will be examples within explanations of different levels of Madness.  01) CONSUMING RAGE; Their anger having taken over their being can be a severe form of this madness. Having a hatred so great that it overcomes their soul. Slight jealousy or hatred for individuals can be a moderate level of madness.

&& 03 MADNESS LEVELS

There are five types of levels in which madness effects people. The Severe level is only available for 4 star players and up. The star at which a person can play a specific level is next to the level name.

01. NON-EXSISTANT	1 STAR PLAYERS	50% of PEOPLE
Non-exsistent is about literally 50/100 people you may meet. It does not mean that the madness doesn't exist, this is just the lowest form of any specific madness. Your character may have the madness, but it isn't constantly seen within the character. Only every once in a while. This should make up half of the Shibusen class.

02. SLIGHT	1 STAR PLAYERS	40% of PEOPLE
There are a lot of people with this level of madness. Where its not controlling, but it can be seen within someone. Its not yet at an unhealthy stage, but it can definitely be seen more then once a blue moon.

03. MODERATE	2 STAR PLAYERS	30% of PEOPLE
Obviously this is one step up from Very Slight. If your character has a Madness level of Slight, this is where the level gets more unhealthy. Appearing more frequently and effecting the character more. I would say that Black☆star's "I'll surpass god" deal would be around here. Since it effects his personality, but it doesn't stop him from thinking about his friends and the people around him.

04. EXTREME	3 STAR PLAYERS	10% of PEOPLE
This is where the unhealthy becomes controlling or obsession. Death the Kid would be a good example of this. His OCPD (Obsessive Compulsive Personality Disorder) Often times gets in the way of him being able to fight even at the cost of his friends and family. An strong outside source is needed to snap him out of his antics sometimes. This is when the madness becomes difficult to control.

05. SEVERE	4 STAR PLAYERS	5% of PEOPLE
Severe is the highest form of Madness. Very few people have this level as it is followed closely by Lord Death's List. Because of the DWMA, people with this level of madness often times don't last very long because they are quickly taken out. Severe madness is where all control has been given to the madness itself and it is very difficult to gain control once again. Obviously Chrona at times could be said to have this level of madness, and Asura has this level of madness.
